Threatened Species Day September 7

September 6, 2023

September 7 is Threatened Species Day.

On Threatened Species Day we celebrate the great work done to support our threatened species and work done to mitigate their threats.

The Weed Management Society of South Australia (WMSSA) hopes to bring together those who continually battle against invasive weed threats on a daily basis. It is these people who are keeping the tidal wave of weeds at bay, making space for threatened species and other native plants and animals. Weed management is for a greater cause.
